Punctuality: Absence and Sickness
Student must be in school well in time to be ready for the Morning Assembly. Habitual late comers will be sent back home.
Absence from class:
Staying away from school without leave not tolerated except when the case is of sudden illness unforeseen circumstances. No leave of absence is given nor a student allowed to go away from school during school hour without a previous written application from the guardian station the reason which must be a serious one. After an absence from class pupils must bring the reason duly entered in the regular records stating briefly the cause of the absence or delay.
Name of pupil who has been absent from school for a considerable period without permission is liable to be struck of the rolls and may not be re-admitted.
Medical certificate is necessary in case of sickness for over three days.
Three weeks quarantine period must be observed for whooping cough, chicken pox, measles and mumps. Student infected the infectious diseases or exposed to such diseases in the homes must complete the quarantine period before rejoining school. This should be indicated on the Medical Certificate.
Parents and guardians are requested to co-operate with the school authorities by urging their wards to regular and punctual attendance and punctilious about manners and speech. Implied obedience to school rules and regulations is an essential condition for continuance on the school roll.
Parents are not allowed to engage private tutors without consulting the school authority. It is the policy of the school as rule to discourage tuition as they may prove injurious to the real progress of the pupils.
Parents should see that their wards are diligent at their homework and lessons.
Parents should insist of neatness and cleanliness in their text books, exercise books and personal appearance.
All communications should be addressed to the Principal.
Changed of address & phone number should be notified immediately.
Accidents
In case of accidents of any kind parents will be informed as soon as possible.
General Information
No child will be granted permission to leave school during school hours except in case of an emergency. (Sudden death of relative, serious accidents etc.)
In case of special permission to leave school during school hours, the parents or the person authorized by the parent, should have an identity card of the child, only then child will be granted permission.
The parents or guardian who comes to take their children after the class hours, must have the identity card of the child.
After the school hours the school will not be responsible for the safety of the children.
It is guardian's responsibility to make sure that the child reaches school before the morning assembly begins. Latecomers will not be allowed. School management will not be responsible for the safety of the late comers.
The school is responsible for the children only during the school hours i.e. from 6.50 a.m. to 12.00 noon (April to June) 8.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. (July to November) 8.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. (Dec. to March) and on examination days during the examination hours.
For those coming by bus, the guardians should take the responsibility to reach the child to the bus stop and to take them back.
